Spiral Classifer

Spiral classifier is one mechanical grading equipment in beneficiation industry, and it adopts the principle: Solid particles with different proportion has different precipitated velocity in the liquid. The main components of spiral classifier are transmission means, spirochetes, the tank, the lifting mechanism, the lower bearing (bearing) and of discharge value. Spiral classifier mainly divide into high weir single spiral and double helix, low weir single spiral and double spiral, sinking several single and double helices. At present, high weir and sinking spiral classifiers are the most popular.

The advantages of the spiral classifier is simple structure, stable and reliable, easy to operate. Usually use in the cycle operations system with less than 3.2 m diameter ball mill. 

Different ore have different specific gravity and sedimentation rates in slurry; Spiral Classifier allows fine ore to flow in the water, while coarse ore sinking to the bottom. Its spiral axle can filter materials and send coarse materials to the feeding mouth and discharge fine materials from the pipe. Thus it can make most clear particles floating on the above, overflow from the overflow edge, and to the next beneficiation process. Coarse particles settle at the bottom, become ore.
